Yakutia to allocate about 145 billion rubles to social sector development
In 2020, Yakutia will allocate 80% of its state budget to the social sector
The state budget of Yakutia will maintain its social orientation in 2020, 80% of the regional budget to be assigned for this purpose, the Yakutia 24 TV channel reports with the reference to the Regional Head’s Administration Press service.
“We assign about 145 billion rubles, or 80% of the state budget for the social sector, as well as support for municipalities, the main expenses of which are the payment of wages to employees of municipal institutions,” the Administration says.
It is stated that the republic is working hard to reduce tariffs for the population in the municipal complex. Thus, on average, the population pays only 29% of economically justified expenses in the republic.
“For 2020 – 2022, the main goal of budget policy is to maintain the stable situation while ensuring long-term balance and financial stability of the budget system of Yakutia,” says the Administration’s report.
