Yakutia residents returned more than three thousand air tickets due to the coronavirus situation
Yakutia 24 TV channel: Yakutia and Polar Airlines return tickets purchased for all routes outside the republic on dates from March 18, 2020 to May 31, 2020 without penalty and fees.
As of March 20, 3,276 air tickets totaling 33,2 million rubles were returned. Tickets are returned at the box office at the place of purchase after filling out an application on the spot with an indication of the reason.
The Transport Ministry sent letters about the possibility of canceling penalties when returning airline tickets to airlines that are not residents of the republic. So far, no response has been received from the airlines.
Earlier, we reported that head of the republic, Aisen Nikolaev, had instructed the Yakutians to return the money they spent on air travel due to the worldwide spread of COVID-19 infection.
