Yakutia produced over 22 tons of gold and 36 tons of silver in 9 months of 2019
Gold production in 2019 increased, while silver decreased
Yakutia 24 TV channel: Mining enterprises of the republic produced more than 22 tons of gold and 36,86 tons of silver in January-August 2019.
“Most gold has been produced by enterprises, engaged in the development of precious metals deposits in the Far East. According to the results of three quarters, subsoil users received 102,41 tons of gold, which is 44,1% of the total gold production in the Russian Federation,” says the Nedra.dv portal.
According to the RF Ministry of Finance, gold production in Russia increased by 19,5% in all 9 months of 2019 and has been 232,16 tons.
Silver production in Russia decreased by 9,5%, to 634,84 tons. A decrease is due to a decrease in secondary precious metal production.
