Yakutia Ecology Ministry says a person is allowed to fish 250 crucian carps a day in Yakutia
The Republic Ecology Ministry reminds residents of the procedure for crucian carp ice fishing, since it’s the munkha (an event, when many men gather together to fish crucian carp on ice water) season, Yakutia 24 TV channel reports with the reference to the Ministry.
The rules of fishing allows citizens to fish on crucian lakes that are not fishing areas and do not have a hydrological connection to the river, with a net of no more than 100 meters long.
“At the same time, the permitted daily rate for crucian carp take is no more than 250 pieces per person,” the ministry says.
If a fisherman exceeds the established norm, he faces damage in the amount of 250 rubles for one crucian carp and administrative responsibility under the article “Violation of the rules of hunting, fishing and other uses of wildlife”, which entails an administrative fine of two thousand to five thousand rubles, for officials – from 20 thousand to 30 thousand rubles, for legal entities – from 100 thousand to 200 thousand rubles with confiscation of the vessel and other production tools.
Also, the Ministry of Ecology of Yakutia notes that amateur fishing with the use of net tools is allowed for residents in order to satisfy personal needs, except the forbidden periods of production. In Central Yakutia, the main place of crucian carp take, the forbidden periods are from May 15 to June 15 and from September 20 to October 20 – the spawning periods.
