Yakutia 24 TV channel with the reference to Yakutia Finance Ministry: The Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA) affirmed Yakutia’s credit rating on a national scale at A(RU), the forecast is “Stable”.
The procedure for revising a credit rating was in September-October 2019. The Ministry of Finance of Yakutia sent to ACRA information on the economics of the republic, the state budget, public debt, liquidity, public sector enterprises and other indicators.
According to the agency, the “Stable” forecast assumes a stable position of the region in the ranking for 12-18 months.
“ACRA analysts note the relatively low debt burden of Yakutia, weighed down by indirect obligations (state guarantees of the republic), and a well-structured schedule for paying off the state debt of the republic,” the Ministry of Finance said in an official statement.
A positive effect from the ACRA conclusion might be an increase of tax revenues to Yakutia after the launch of large investment projects.
