Yakut wrestlers dropped out of UWW rating first time since 2017
Yakutia 24 TV channel: Not a single representative of the Yakut wrestling school has been included in the United Wrestling World (UWW) strongest wrestlers rating in January 2020.
Previously, athletes of the republic have always been in the Top 10 or Top 20. It is the first time since August 2017 that no single Yakut is on the list. It is the second time for the entire period that the UWW best world wrestlers ranking has been compiled.
So, in the fall of 2019, according to the results of nine months, the Belarusian legionnaire Nyurgun Skryabin took the eighth place (in March he was fifth) in the world classification, the representative of the Romanian team Nikolay Okhlopkov was on the seventh line, the Macedonian legionary Vladimir Egorov was in the top twenty. Also the Top 20 strongest wrestlers of the planet had Eduard Grigoriev (15th place in April) and Aryaan Tyutrin (17th place).
Earlier the list of the strongest wrestlers of the planet had two-time world champion, champion of the European Games and six-time champion of the country Viktor Lebedev. Over the years and months, the Top 20 best in their weight categories included Egor Ponomarev, Ayaal Lazarev, Vladislav Andreev, Nyurgun Skryabin, Innokenty Innokentyev, Viktor Rassadin, Innokenty Innokentyev.
