Yakutia 24 TV channel: The water level on the Amga river near Chimnayi village in the Tattinsky district has exceeded the critical level today, May 11.
“The ice is standing. Today at 6.00 a.m. the water level exceeded the critical mark by 60 centimeters, now the water is declining. Territories are not flooded. About 20 people were evacuated from coastal areas,” says Yegor Vasiliev, head of the Ust-Amginsky settlement.
At 10.00 local time, the water level was 1,199 centimeters at a critical mark of 1,155 centimeters. The operational group of the Emergencies Ministry is working on the spot.
