Yakutia 24 TV channel: Head of the region Aisen Nikolaev called on citizens who arrived in the republic from Central Russia to examine their health and, if possible, isolate themselves. As he said during a briefing, 2012 citizens have arrived in Yakutia from abroad over the past two weeks.
“I also advise those who come here from other regions of the country, primarily from Moscow and St. Petersburg, to monitor their health as much as possible and to self-isolate, if there is such a need. At the slightest symptoms of acute respiratory viral infections, you need to contact a medical institution,” Nikolaev says.
The head of Yakutia justifies this with the fact that today the number of patients is growing quite rapidly in Moscow and other central regions.
