State Assembly of Yakutia proposed to introduce emergency mode in several regions due to icing of pastures
Yakutia 24 TV channel with the reference to the State Assembly Press Service: Il Tymen turned to the head of the region, Aisen Nikolaev, with a proposal to introduce an inter-municipal emergency regime due to icing of pastures in several regions.
People’s Deputy of Yakutia Mikhail Everstov made such a proposal before the 10th plenary meeting of the State Assembly.
The text of the parliament resolution said that since early October 2019, Yakutia saw warm weather, accompanied by rains.
“As a result of temperature differences, a dense layer of ice formed on the surface of the pastures, that can create significant difficulties during wintering of livestock. This problem can be exacerbated by insufficient snow. As a result, it will be necessary to take care of additional feeds for horses and deer in advance,” the report says.
In its appeal, the parliament of Yakutia proposes the Head of the republic to consider the possibility of introducing emergency regime of intermunicipal nature in the areas with the greatest threat of animals’ mass death.
