South Korean professor and philanthropist plans cooperation with the NEFU
Philanthropist, professor from South Korea Kan Duk Su, who arrived in Yakutsk on occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Sakha-Korean school, plans to cooperate with the North-Eastern Federal University, Yakutia 24 TV channel reports.
According to the professor, he is interested in cooperation for more in-depth study of the culture, traditions, languages of Yakutia.
The Sakha-Korean school principal Olga Potapova tells that Kang Duk Su has been supporting the undertakings of the educational institution leadership since its very creation.
“The professor still organizes internships for children, although it is quite difficult now. Every year, about 10 students go to South Korea for an internship,” she says.
