SARS and influenza incidence in Yakutia exceeds epidemiological thresholds almost a third
Yakutia 24 TV channel: Weekly monitoring data of the fourth week of 2020 showed that the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections in the republic and the capital of the region exceeds the epidemic thresholds by 34,1% and 27,9%, respectively.
“Over the past week, non-influenza etiology viruses (parainfluenza, adenoviruses, PC viruses, rhinoviruses) prevailed in the structure of positive findings. The share of influenza viruses amounted to 11% of persons examined,” says the agency in an official statement.
The specialists of Rospotrebnadzor together with educational institutions daily monitor the number of children attending kindergartens and schools.
If the incidence of SARS and influenza exceeds 20%, the schools and kindergartens should stop.
