Russian scientists have developed nano-concrete for use at low temperatures
Yakutia 24 TV channel: Concrete mixture with nano-additives for the construction of monolithic structures has been developed by engineers together with scientists.
“The characteristics of the new nano-mixture meet the needs of civil engineering and generally exceed regulatory requirements. Concrete can be used for the construction of structures with a height of up to ten floors in conditions of high humidity and low temperatures,” says Roman Fedyuk, one of the authors of the work, professor of the Center for Higher Education and Economics.
According to him, the innovative mixture quickly sets, the concrete stone gets better and has gel porosity. Thus, moisture does not penetrate into the new mixture, which destroys ordinary concrete.
The properties of the mixture have already been tested in real conditions: floors and supporting structures of the five-story parking have been built using it, the final result fully complies with the declared standards.
