Russian economy dependence on oil and gas revenues gradually decreasing
Yakutia 24 TV channel: Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the country was gradually moving away from oil dependence, but it is impossible to completely get rid of it during in an interview with TASS.
“We are really moving away from it, because the share of non-oil and gas revenues is growing. But it takes time, you can’t do it with one click of your fingers,” the head of state said in an interview for the TASS project “20 Questions for Vladimir Putin”.
According to him, it is necessary to raise real incomes of citizens along with inflation targeting. “In the context of our economic structure, this is not so simple, but the government is definitely obliged to undertake additional efforts, and now we are discussing this,” concluded Vladimir Putin.
