‘Power of Siberia-2’ gas pipeline proposed to be laid across Kazakhstan
Yakutia 24 Tv channel: Kazakhstan Energy Minister Nurlan Nogaev proposed that the Russian Energy Minister builds the Power of Siberia-2 gas pipeline through Kazakhstan territory.
In the future, the pipeline to be connected to the West-East system of the People’s Republic of China. The heads of energy departments exchanged views on issues of bilateral cooperation in the fuel and energy sector and discussed interaction within the EAEU.
Power of Siberia is a main gas pipeline for delivering gas to Russian consumers in the Far East and China. The gas source at the first stage is the Chayandinskoye oil and gas condensate field (Yakutsk gas production center), and Kovykta gas condensate field (Irkutsk gas production center) at the second stage.
