Passage on Lena Bridge in Yakutia will be paid for all vehicles
Passage on road bridge across the Lena River in the republic will be paid for all types of vehicles, according to the terms of concession agreement. Autos will be privileged, Yakutia 24 TV channel reports with the reference to TASS.
The draft concession agreement took into account the requirements for the maximum size and procedure of charging fares in accordance with the Russian legislation requirements.
“The appendix to the concession agreement contains a point on the Grantor’s right to make decision on granting the right of privileged travel to certain categories of users. We plan to use this right, and therefore the financial model requires fee only for trucks,” the Yakut government said.
According to published procurement documents, the terms of the agreement establish the maximum fare for different types of vehicles. It is reported that the fee will be from 12 rubles per kilometer for a motorcycle or passenger car, up to 38,5 rubles for a bus or truck on roads of regional and intermunicipal importance. On the bridge itself, the price should not exceed 84 rubles per kilometer for a motorcycle or passenger car and 269 rubles for intercity buses and trucks with three or more axles.
The document says that the calculation is based on 2015 year prices and is of a recommendatory nature.
