Nerungri – Tayshet train will replace Neryungri – Moscow train in the new schedule of the Federal Passenger Company in December 2019, Yakutia 24 TV channel reports with the reference to Interfax.
The Federal Passenger Company will launch a new train that will connect the regions of Western and Eastern Siberia with the Far East. It will be the fast train N47/48 “Omsk – Vladivostok” that will leave from Omsk for the first go on December 8, and from Vladivostok on December 13.
The composition will be formed of three types of cars: a coupe, sleeping car and reserved seat.
It is reported that the new passenger train schedule, to enter into force on December 8, involves the routes of a number of trains in Siberia, as well as canceling the only train connecting Moscow to Tynda (Baikal-Amur Railway, BAM).
Thus, numerous villages, located on the Baikal-Amur Railway east of Severobaikalsk (Novy Uoyan, Severomuisk, Taksimo, Novaya Chara, Khani, Olekma), including Tynda, will remain without direct passenger communication with the Russian capital.
