More than 30 Yakut schoolchildren become winners of All-Siberian Olympiad
Yakutia 24 TV channel: Over 30 senior students of the republic became winners of the All-Siberian Olympiad for schoolchildren.
“Schoolchildren from Yakutia received 33 diplomas of prize-winners and winners. Most of them won at the Physics Olympiad – 15 awards. 10 prizes at the Olympiad in Mathematics, four more – in Biology, three – in Chemistry and one – in Computer Science. Yakutia ranks first among the regions of the Far East by the number of winners,” the report says.
Some children became winners in two subjects, as Physics and Mathematics. All prize-winners and winners studying are invited to the Summer School, held in August in Akademgorodok by the SSTC NSU. The winners of the final stage also have the right to out-of-competition admission to the University that held the contest. The All-Siberian Open Olympiad for Schoolchildren is the largest subject olympiad for high school students beyond the Urals.
