More than 20 mobile teams to assist seniors to assemble in Yakutia villages
More than 20 mobile teams, that will transport older people to medical facilities, will appear in the villages of Yakutia. This was reported to Yakutia 24 TV channel by the Republic Deputy Prime Minister Olga Balabkina.
This week, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev made changes to the government’s order to purchase vehicles for transportation of people of more than 65 and who live in rural areas, to medical organizations. According to the decree, 19,9 million rubles will be allocated from the federal budget for these purposes in Yakutia.
“The first tranche in amount of 11,4 million rubles has already been received, 14 vehicles purchased and have already been delivered to the regions. Another 8,5 million rubles have been allocated additionally for the organization of 23 mobile teams that will assist older people, living in villages, to get to medical facilities for routine examinations,” said Balabkina.
