Little Yakuts began sending letters to Santa Claus
“Letter to Santa Claus” campaign was launched throughout Russia on December 4. Young residents of the republic have already begun to send their envelopes with wishes, Yakutia 24 TV channel reports.
Special boxes, depicting Pechkin postman and the address of Santa Claus, are set in all regional branches of the Russian Post. In Yakutsk, such a mailbox is open in General Post Office building. There are seven of them in the republic.
You can also send a letter to Santa Claus’s email address, but most Russians prefer handwritten letters with an envelope and a stamp.
Every year in December, Santa Claus in Veliky Ustyug receives over 200 thousand messages from all over the country. The traditional action will last until the New Year.
