The first stage of the projct to be commissioned in late 2021
The project of construction of Inaglinsky mining and processing complex in the Neryungrinsky district of the republic took first place in the ranking of projects with the largest economic contribution to the development of the Far East, Yakutia 24 TV channel reports with the reference to the Ministry for the Arctic Development.
The project became the best on the basis of assessing its contribution to the creation of GRP, the amount of expected tax revenues, the number of jobs to be created, the contribution to the creation of infrastructure and other parameters. The rating was prepared by experts from the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) and the Institute of the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade of the RF Ministry of Economic Development.
“The coal cluster formed in Yakutia will provide more than 252 billion rubles of GRP growth and 13,2 billion rubles of additional tax revenues to the region’s budget until 2028. More than three thousand jobs will be created,” the official statement says.
The Inaglinsky GOK in Yakutia is being implemented by the Kolmar company with the support of the Far East and Arctic Development. The construction of the Inaglinskaya-2 mining and processing plant and the Inaglinskaya mine with a total capacity of 12 million tons of coking coal per year has been underway since 2017. The commissioning of the first stage of new capacities is planned for the end of 2021.
