Head of Yakutia says more Yakuts should go into business
Local residents should be increasingly involved in entrepreneurial activity, said head of the region Aisen Nikolaev. He noted examples of successful business in the republic, including in new industries, Yakutia 24 TV channel reports.
The head of the republic emphasized that today the conditions for doing business have become much simpler.
“Now it’s very simple to register a business, the terms of technical connections and the issuance of building permits have been reduced. A risk-based approach is introduced at all types of state control to reduce administrative pressure on the business,” said Nikolaev.
He noted that in 2019, Yakutia became the leader in the National rating of the investment climate in the Russian entities, taking 22nd place.
“We need to involve more and more Yakuts in running our own business, and their initiative position plays a decisive role in this. There are examples of successful entrepreneurship, including in new industries. So, in a short time, Yakutia has become a leader in the export of IT services in the Far East, and we are among the top 20 leading regions at the federal level,” the head of the republic said.
