Gazprom Neft has begun development of Chayanda oil deposits
Gazprom Neft has begun active development of the Chayanda oil and gas condensate field oil rim in the republic. The industrial inflow of the first producing well exceeded 150 tons of oil per day, Yakutia 24 TV channel reports with reference to TASS.
At present, the existing fund is six wells. At the first stage, oil produced at the field will be used for debugging technological processes at oil and gas infrastructure facilities, inter alia.
After commissioning, all liquid hydrocarbons will be transported to the acceptance transfer unit of “Orgul” oil transfer pumping system and then – to the “East Siberia – Pacific Ocean” oil pipeline.
“By the end of 2021, Gazpromneft-Subarctic will complete the construction of its own pressure oil pipeline. This will allow the company to send oil, produced at the field, directly to the Transneft trunk system,” the statement said.
The full-scale development of the Chayanda oil and gas condensate field oil rim will begin in 2020.
“By 2022, it is planned to expand and modernize the oil treatment unit, the design capacity of which will be one million tons per year. Peak production at the field will reach three million tons of oil equivalent per year,” the company says.
