The field will produce about three million tons of oil equivalent per year
Yakutia 24 TV channel: Today was a ceremonial start of deliveries of prepared oil from Chayanda field via the Chayanda-ESPO pipeline.
“A little over three weeks ago, we began supplying gas through the Power of Siberia pipeline to the People’s Republic of China. Today we are ready to start the delivery of the prepared oil via the Chayanda-ESPO pipeline,” says Igor Krutikov, CEO of “Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk” LLC.
It is noted that seven oil wells are operating at the field. “The oil extracted from them goes to the preparation unit to be brought to marketable parameters, then it is delivered by tank trucks to the complex gas treatment unit, where oil and gas condensate are mixed for subsequent transportation through the Chayanda-ESPO pipeline,” says “Arctic Gazpromneft CEO” Vladimir Krupennikov.
He added that the full-scale development of the Chayanda oil and gas condensate oil rim will start in 2020. In the future, the Chayanda oil cluster will produce about three million tons of oil equivalent per year.
