Forbes included ALROSA in the top ten best employers in Russia
According to the Russian Forbes, ALROSA is among the ten best employers in the country, Yakutia 24 TV channel reports with the reference to Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
The rating model is based on a large study of the largest Russian companies’ corporate life. Superjob.ru portal survey made it clear what the Russians meant when they say the “best employer”.
“Today, the Russians expect employers to pay a high level of wages, an expanded social package, comfortable working conditions, training and retraining opportunities,” the report said.
“Norilsk Nickel” is in the first place in the rating. The key production sites of one of the world’s largest palladium producers are located beyond the Arctic Circle on the Kola and Taimyr Peninsulas. Severe working conditions determine a wide social package and high average salaries.
The second place went to the largest Russian gold mining company Polyus. Its employees also receive high salaries, and have one of the most comprehensive social packages. Polyus enterprises are located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Irkutsk and Magadan Regions, as well as in Yakutia.
Gazprombank closes the top three.
In addition to ALROSA, the top ten ranking also included Yandex, Gazprom, VTB Bank and Sberbank.
