Five Yakut schools receive federal grants for training digital economy personnel
Yakutia 24 TV channel: The Education Ministry summed up the competition for grants from the federal budget as part of the “Personnel for Digital Economy” national project, initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, the winners of which include five republic schools.
The educational institutions with in-depth study of mathematics and computer science became participants of the competitive selection.
In the republic, Nyurba Technical Lyceum will receive a grant of six million rubles, Mirny region secondary school No. 19 named after L.A. Popugaeva, the Republican boarding school 5,8 million rubles, Berdigestyakh Secondary School three million rubles, Suntarsky secondary school №1 – two million rubles.
The Republic boarding school and the Berdigestyakh secondary school receive a grant for the second time, thereby showing a high level of competitiveness at the federal level, innovative approaches and the quality of training.
In a letter to the Federal Assembly in January 2020, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed by 2021 to provide schools with digital transformation opportunities and prepare and implement the Accessible Internet project, which involves free access for citizens to socially significant services.
