Banks have concluded more than 5 thousand agreements of “Far Eastern mortgage” in 100 days

Yakutia 24 TV channel: Banks concluded more than five thousand loan agreements totaling 16 billion rubles in 100 days of the preferential mortgage program in the Far East.
March 16 is exactly 100 days of the program allowing to buy an apartment or house with a 2% mortgage. To date, more than five thousand loan agreements worth over 16 billion rubles have been concluded as part of the Far East Mortgage state housing program. It started on December 7, 2019 with the signing of the relevant government decree.
More than 20 thousand applications have already been submitted for obtaining preferential mortgages. Currently, 12 banks accept applications, by April 2020 their number should increase to 14. The introduction of preferential mortgage in the Far East was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Eastern Economic Forum in September 2019. The program allows young families and participants in the Far Eastern Hectare program to receive a loan of no more than six million rubles at a rate of 2% per annum for up to 20 years.
