Appeals to Yakutia authorities in social networks equaled to official requests
Yakutia ministries have to respond to addresses on social media within 8 hours
Yakutheir 24 TV channel: Appeals, complaints and proposals of citizens that come from the official pages of Yakutia head on social media, have been equaled to official request. Aisen Nikolaev told it today at the plenary session.
The population uses such way to address the government. Since the federal legislation does not regulate this issue, the republic establishes provision on the work with the citizens appeals on social media.
“When the population asks us through social media to resolve a problem, some ministries start to make excuses instead of giving a full and specific answer”, says Aisen Nikolaev.
On December 28 he signed a decree “On improving a mechanism of dealing with the citizens’ and organizations’ appeals on social media and other syatems of interactive connection with the population in the Internet”.
A ministry or other management institution has 8 hours to give an official response or information to an appeal, appeared on their social media. A refusal will equal to rude violation and non-execution of the head’s decree.
