Diamond Company helps Yakutia fight coronavirus
Yakutia 24 TV channel: ALROSA spent 147 million rubles for measures to curb the spread of coronavirus infection in the region.
The amount went to provide Mirny and Lensky regions with the necessary medicines and medical equipment. The funds went to purchase mini-laboratories for rapid diagnostics of the coronavirus, as well as sets of appropriate reagents and tests totaling more than 62 million rubles.
24,7 million rubles will also be sent to Mirny, Lensk and Aikhal medical institutions for the purchase of antibacterial and antiviral drugs, inhalation solutions, hormones, infusion solutions, and medical devices. Another 21 million rubles will be allocated for the purchase of ventilation devices for hospitals.
The company also purchased more than 300 thousand medical masks, some of which have already been sent to Mirny.
Earlier, we reported that the CEO of the company, Sergey Ivanov, had allocated more than 18 million rubles to equip medical facilities in the Mirny district of Yakutia.
