Individual entrepreneur Tatyana Tavanets, together with her husband Konstantin Gridyushko, opened a year-round greenhouse complex in the village of Zyryanka in mid-2019. The crop of vegetables exceeded a ton for three months, Yakutia 24 TV channel reports with the reference to the Republic Entrepreneurship Ministry.
“The whole process took us several years. In 2016, we received property support from the municipality, they allocated a large plot for rent. Then we ordered the greenhouse design and estimate documentation. Since 2017, we began to gradually buy construction materials and equipment. In 2019, we started construction directly, but there were not enough funds,” the words of Tatyana Tavanets are quoted.
In May 2019, she turned to the My Business Center, where she was told about existing state support measures. There she submitted documents to subsidize part of the costs by a program for businessmen, engaged in production of local products.
“By the end of the second quarter, we got the walls erected and a roof installed, the floor laid, double-glazed windows installed, rooms insulated, boxes started to be installed, lighting and water supply and sanitation installed,” the entrepreneur said.
According to her, Zyryanka residents were able to try the first crop, grown in the greenhouse complex, in October. By December, the volume of production of greenhouse vegetables exceeded a ton. In 2020, they plan to expand the range.
