Yakutia authorities have coronavirus situation under control
The republic takes all necessary preventive measures to combat against coronavirus entry
Yakutia 24 TV channel: Deputy Prime Minister of the region Olga Balabkina commented on the current situation on coronavirus infection as of March 6.
“Yakutia have the same laws as throughout the Russian Federation – if a citizen arrives from countries of the attention zone, they are issued a sick leave or certificate of exemption to restrict movement,” Olga Balabkina tells.
She also notes that this measure is preventive, although necessary. According to her, all citizens arriving from South Korea received sick leave. They must be at home for two weeks.
“In the republic, work to counteract the spread of coronavirus is carried out according to a clear plan of action, the government controls the situation,” the deputy prime minister concluded.
