Yakut students in Moscow are recommended to go back home
Yakutia 24 TV channel: Students from the republic who live and study at Moscow universities, have switched to distance learning. They also were recommended to return to their homeland whenever possible.
“According to the latest data, we will have an exam on Monday, but it is still unknown. Many of my friends decided to fly to Yakutsk, because they feel better and calm in their homeland. I believe that there is no particular panic in Moscow, students are studying and preparing for exams. Those who want to return home may return. We are not evicted from the dormitories,” says student of the Russian Foreign Ministry Artyom Inkheev.
Also, the republic permanent mission in Moscow advises Yakuts not to fly to the capital of the country and other regions due to the threat of coronavirus infection spread.
“I ask those who planned trips to Moscow, St. Petersburg and especially abroad to think very well and it is advisable to refuse travel,” says Andrei Fedotov, Permanent Representative of the Republic under the President of the Russian Federation.
