Yakutia 24 TV channel: “Patterns of Life” Yakut short film, based on a true story, received the “Strana” national award.
“Patterns of Life”tells about a girl who stands the blows of fate, and is able to love and value her loved ones. The main role is played by 10-year-old Michiye Chybykova from the Suntarsky district,” tells the Culture Ministry.
The film director is the head of the republic social and rehabilitation center for minors Tatyana Egorova. One of the pupils of the Center patients has been a prototype of the heroine. Egorova received the national award from the hands of Soviet and Russian film actor, film director, screenwriter and film producer Egor Konchalovsky.
“This film is a very deep, vital, and simple in its depth, at the end I even was in tears,” says Egor Konchalovsky.
The national award “Strana” is an annual open creative competition of works by Russian television journalists, directors, cameramen and producers. The festival participants are more than four thousand people from all over Russia and the countries of the former CIS.
The award competition took place in two stages. More than 700 works were presented at the first stage, of them the second round participants were selected. Further, an expert jury determined the winners of the National Prize in seven nominations.
