Yakut girl Valeria Mironova passed the stage of the All-Russian singing contest
Yakutia-born girl passed to the next stage of the ‘Golos’ contest
Valeria Mironova from the Aldan region of the republic won at the “Duels” stage of “Golos” (Voice) music project, Yakutia 24 TV channel reports.
Mentors divided the vocalists into pairs, and only one participant from each pair could go to the next stage of the project.
Valeria Mironova performed the song “You Say” by Vladimir Presnyakov in a duet with Roman Voloznev.
All judges of the project noted the talented performance and beautiful timbre of the Yakut. Singer Polina Gagarina called Mironova’s voice “velvet”, and Honored Artist of Russia Valery Syutkin also expressed his admiration.
“Valeria Mironova will move on with me in the project,” the couple’s mentor, composer Konstantin Meladze said following the performance.
Valeria Mironova was born in Nizhny Kuranakh, she currently lives and works in Moscow, and is fond of performing jazz music.
