Military camp named after great Yakut sniper to open in Tver region
Yakutia 24 TV channel: A military camp named after Fedor Okhlopkov, a native of the republic, Soviet Union hero, will open in the Tver region in spring 2020.
Now, preparatory work is currently underway at the site of the future field town near Rzhev. Temporary objects will appear on the territory in April.
The camp is designed for 250 places. The search units will work in the area. During the Second World War, hundreds of Yakutians died there. The idea of creating the camp belongs to the Permanent Mission of Yakutia to the Russian President.
