Yakutia 24 TV channel: Social pensions will be indexed 6,1% from April 1, 2020.
According to Russian Labor Minister Anton Kotyakov, more than three million citizens will receive increased pensions. Recipients of social pensions are people who have not earned enough work years necessary to receive an insurance pension.
The indexation of such pensions is carried out taking into account the growth rate of a pensioner living wage in Russia over the past 2019.
State pensions will also increase for military conscripts, military personnel, WW II participants, citizens awarded “Resident of besieged Leningrad” sign, as well as those injured due to man-made accidents or radiation.
