Six Yakut boxers are first to fight at the Russian Championship
Six boxers from the republic will fight a battle first at the Russian championship in Samara on November 10, Yakutia 24 TV channel reports with the reference to Yakutia Sports.
Three Yakutians at once will fight in the weight category of up to 49 kilograms: Yan Maksimov will meet with Damir Sagatullin from Chelyabinsk, Mikhail Prokopyev with Albert Nizaev from Bashkortostan and Boris Sidorov with Vadim Sagdiev from Perm.
In the weight category up to 63 kilograms, the champion of the Far East, Yakutian Petr Vasiliev will meet with Oleg Mukhin from Karelia in the first round.
Yakutian Nikolai Grigorev will fight with Asker Tambiev from the Karachay-Cherkess Republic in the weight category of up to 52 kilograms.
Three-time champion of Russia, two-time European champion, Yakut boxer Vasily Egorov will fight first at the national championship on November 11. His rival in the 1/16 final is a boxer from Novosibirsk Bolat-Ool Mergen-Herel.
