Republic pupils will present their projects at the remote hackathon
Yakutia 24 TV channel: Remote hackathon of the republic contest “My IT Profession” has started in Zhigansk today, March 2.
15 schoolchildren of the Zhigansky district participate in the qualifying stage of the remote republic contest “My IT Profession”, where the winning team will present its district in the contest finals in Yakutsk in April.
The students will create prototypes of applications or sites in three areas: “Eco Case”, “Comfortable Environment”, “Education”.
Anatoly Semenov, Minister of Innovation, Digital Development and Infocommunication Technologies, greeted the participants and organizers via video communication, where he noted that the Zhigansky district was the first region in the history of the republic to host a remote hackathon and wished the participants to learn a lot of new, useful information and achieve great success in the future.
In total, it is planned to hold 17 full-time and seven distance hackathons within the framework of the contest “My IT Profession”. Remote hackathons will be held in Zhigansky, Anabarsky, Oymyakonsky, Verkhnekolymsky, Srednekolymsky, Olemkinsky and Lena districts.
