Registry Office says the number of ‘golden families’ in Yakutia is increasing
Employees of the registry office in Yakutsk state that the number of families, who have lived together for more than 50 years, is increasing, the Yakutia 24 TV channel reports.
“We have been publishing the book “Golden Families of Yakutia” since 2017. The first edition included less than 60 families, and now the las edition includes 101 families. And we know that this is not the limit,” said Anna Mikhailova, chief specialist of the registry office.
Today, November 8, the registry office saw a solemn registration of the Noevs’ golden wedding. The couple married 50 years ago – on December 1, 1969. During their life, the Noevs raised four children and 10 grandchildren, are now waiting for great-grandchildren.
The Head of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolaev handed the Noevs a Welcome address and “Family Valor” sign, their names were included in the Yakutia Golden Families book.
