‘Norilsk Nickel’ plans to cooperate with the Yakut University
Yakutia 24 TV channel: Mining company “Norilsk Nickel” has shown interest in the international center for the development of promising competencies and technologies “FutureSkills: NEFU” of the North-Eastern Federal University.
“We are open to cooperation and intend to develop a collaboration with industry leaders who define new production standards. We will begin pilot testing of technologies and competencies, developed at the “FutureSkills: NEFU” international center, says Petr Ivanov, Vice-Rector for NEFU Digital Development.
“FutureSkills: NEFU” Center Deputy Director Alexei Skryabin notes that Norilsk Nickel is one of the successful companies, actively introducing modern IT infrastructure in the regions, as well as industrial automation systems and business process robots.
He is sure that the company’s interest in joint work proves the high competency of the university students, undergraduates and the Center staff.
“FutureSkills: NEFU” international center is engaged in industrial robotics, additive manufacturing, reverse engineering and many others.
