A direct passenger train on route Nizhny Bestyakh – Blagoveshchensk is carried out once a week, the travel takes two days, Yakutia 24 TV channel reports.
According to the trip passengers, getting to Blagoveshchensk by train is much more comfortable than by taxi.
At the moment, passengers who arrived at Nizhny Bestyakh railway station can reach Yakutsk by an air cushion, then by bus on an ice crossing.
“Transfer by bus and air cushion will keep until the ice crossing opening. The cost of this service is 1 500 rubles. Then there will be transportation of passengers from the railway station to Yakutsk bus station,” said Svetlana Primak, deputy chief of Nizhny Bestyakh railway station.
On November 13, “Yakutia Railways” resume selling single tickets to a passenger train from Yakutsk on route Nizhny Bestyakh – Nerungri.
