Yakutia 24 TV channel with the reference to the Regional Head Press Service: The republic has 7% decrease in mortality rate from the circulatory system diseases.
Over the eight months of 2019, mortality due to diseases of the circulatory system decreased by 7%, compared to the same period in 2018. In total, mortality from cardiovascular pathologies decreased in 49 regions of Russia. Herewith, indicator is growing in 36 regions of the country.
The country fights against cardiovascular diseases as part of the national project “Health Care”. There was a meeting on the Strategic Development and National Projects “Healthcare” and “Demography”, chaired by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on October 14. The head of Yakutia Aisen Nikolaev attended a meeting in the video conferencing mode.
“By 2024 we will have faced the task to reduce the death rate from heart attacks, strokes and other circulatory diseases by almost a quarter. For these purposes, the budget provides 11,6 billion rubles,” said Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
He said that by 2020, 1,500 feldsher-midwife centers (FMCs) should be built across the country. But there are the risks of failure to meet deadlines in some regions. The federal budget provides four billion rubles for the purchase of 509 mobile medical complexes in 2019.
According to Aisen Nikolaev, the government constructed the FMCs within the national project “Healthcare” in settlements with a population of 100 to 200 people. They also purchased mobile medical complexes. In 2019, four FMCs were put into operation in different regions of the republic.
Earlier, Dmitry Medvedev had warned regional leaders about the inadmissibility of manipulating mortality statistics.
