More than thousand Yakuts become participants of ‘Constitution Volunteers‘ project
Yakutia 24 TV channel: 1108 residents of the republic joined the all-Russian project “Constitution Volunteers” on the eve of the vote on amendments to the main document of the country.
“The corps of volunteers in Yakutia has been organized, the task of which is to inform the public about the upcoming all-Russian voting and about planned changes to the Constitution of the Russian Federation,” says the corps coordinator Alexey Innokentyev.
According to him, they planned to work at info points, as well as visit veterans and senior citizens. “In connection with the epidemiological situation, our volunteers are currently involved in helping older people who are being self-isolated,” he adds.
According to the amendments to the RF Constitution, voiced by President Vladimir Putin, the minimum wage cannot be lower than the subsistence level. The basic law also guarantees mandatory social insurance, targeted social support of citizens and the indexation of benefits and other social payments can be fixed.
