“This program is implemented in 36 municipalities of the republic and includes five time steps, the first of which is until the end of 2020. In total, by September 1, 2025, we plan to eliminate 1,14 million square meters of emergency housing in Yakutia within the framework of the republic targeted resettlement program,” said the Republic Construction Minister Pavel Argunov.
He also added that according to the program, the resettlement of citizens can be carried out both by providing them with housing, purchased by the state from the developers or the housing purchased in the secondary market, or by compensation for seized emergency housing.
As of October 24, 49 displaced families in Yakutsk filed applications for cash compensation for emergency housing. Of these, 34 families have already entered into agreements on compensation payments – total worth 83,7 million rubles.
Currently, the Republic Housing Department has concluded contracts for the purchase of 140 apartments for resettling families living in Yakutsk.
“Of these 140 families, nine are moving to an apartment building on Lermontov Street 26/1, they will receive the keys in the near future. It is gratifying that the state purchased nine three-room apartments for a total amount of about 38 million rubles in the same building for the resettling families”, said Pavel Argunov.
