Emergency power and heat supply outage in Solnechny village of Yakutia
Yakutia 24 TV channel: An emergency power outage took place in Solnechny village, Ust-Maysky district on Wednesday, February 12. The accident affected the water supply and heat supply of the village.
“The power outage in the village occurred on February 12 at 18.50 p.m. Power engineers eliminated the accident and supplied electricity by 1 a.m. Prior to this, they connected one branch of electricity to water intake. A boiler room started operating normally. Thus, we did not allow the village heating system defrosting. But then, a transformer burned down in the boiler room at about 3 a.m. and it was totally de-energized,” says head of the village, Alexander Pakhomov.
By 7 in the morning, the heat supply in the village was restored. Operators were in emergency mode from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the water supply of the village suffered after the accident.
According to the head of the village, four teams of three people are working in the village to restore the water supply system at present. He also stresses that the situation is under control, heat is supplied to all the houses of the village.
