North-Eastern Federal University rector Anatoly Nikolaev suggests that Bridgestone corporation representatives test tires in Oimyakon district of the republic.
He says that the university and the Japanese mega-corporation have had close contact for eight years of cooperation.
“We are honored that the world-famous Bridgestone tires are tested at our university. Yakutia and the landfill are a very good platform for the development and promotion of the Japanese company in Russia. Besides, if tge tires get tested by the Yakut frosts, they can endure anything,” hesays the rector.
Nikolaev also suggests making changes to the format of test races. “To obtain even greater results and to collect analytical information, you can consider trips to the Pole of Cold in Oymyakon, to the south or west of the republic. The climate there is completely different than one in Yakutsk. If we want to expand our partnership, then we need to expand our geography,” he adds.
