A new school for 220 places opened in Oimyakonsky district
The opening of a new stone building of a secondary school for 220 places took place in the village of Tomtor, Oimyakonsky district today, December 20, Yakutia 24 TV channel reports with the reference to Il Tymen.
The construction of the building has been carried out in the framework of the republic investment program since 2015. The total cost of the facility amounted to 453 million rubles.
In honor of the new school building opening, there was the rite of blessing Algys, an excursion and performance of the school students.
In his welcoming speech, Parliament Speaker Petr Gogolev congratulated those present at the opening of the new school building, wished students success in their studies, fulfillment of New Year wishes, and also instructed to work for the good of the republic.
Petr Gogolev handed the diploma of the State Assembly (Il Tymen) to Chemistry teacher at Tomtor school Ulyana Poselskaya for activities in the field of education in Yakutia.
